Sweet SUSTAIN

SWEET SUSTAIN is an NBPT protected nitrogen fertiliser with added sulphur and sodium.

For dairy farmers looking to increase protein and digestibility

Who are looking to combine the benefits of a protected urea with sulphur and sodium

Our product is a 35N treated with NBPT urease inhibitor + 5% sulphur + 5% sodium

Better than other urease inhibitors, NBPT is proven on thousands of field trials and in Ireland by TEAGASC

Our solution has been shown in TEAGASC trials to reduce ammonia emissions by 84% and Greenhouse Gas emissions by 73%

What are the benefits of sulphur?

  • Application of 20kg/ha/year of sulphur has been shown to increase dry matter grass yield by up to 2 tonnes/ha
  • Increased protein content and digestibility

What are the benefits of sodium?

  • Applying SWEET SUSTAIN will help to increase the palatability of grass resulting in tighter grazed swards and better re-growth in the following rotations.
  • Using SWEET SUSTAIN where slurry has been spread sweetens the grass after the slurry naturally sours it
  • Research shows that where sodium fertiliser was applied, cows had increased milk yields, milk fat and lactose concentrations compared to cows grazing pastures that did not receive sodium fertiliser

Need a Carbon Footprint?

Our aim is to provide specific carbon footprints for our products, improving accuracy for recording and reporting. NUTRI-CO2OL, our independently ADAS verified carbon footprint model, was developed to account for changes in raw material sourcing, production and blending sites.

An example of a carbon footprint for a Goulding grade is below. Contact us quoting the bag code on your bag tie for an accurate carbon footprint.
